Enablelink's Employment Services Directory

A project of the Canadian Abilities Foundation, EnableLink is designed to provide web-based information to Canadians with disabilities. The website includes a directory for employers, employees and job seekers with disabilities as well as a listing of agencies that provide assistance and training to people with disabilities. The site also includes resources for disabled women who have experienced violence.

Financial Services Commission of Ontario

The Financial Services Commission provides information to pension-plan members through publications such as Understanding Your Pension Plan: A Guide for Members of Employer-Sponsored Pension Plans. The following issues will be of particular concern to women:

Women's Centres

Women's centres offer a whole range of programs, including services for abused women, ESL classes, counselling, job training and re-skilling, self-employment resources, housing support, and free legal clinics. The Ontario Women's Directorate provides ongoing funding to qualifying women's centres throughout the province through the Investing in Women's Futures grant program.
