Information Technology Training for Women is a program that enables women to secure employment, further training and certification in the IT sector. The program offers training where skill shortages currently exist. As a result of this training, women will be prepared for well-paying employment in the information technology sector, and employers will be able to recruit and retain more skilled workers.
Training takes up to one year to complete and includes in-class and practical training followed by a work placement. Following graduation from an Information Technology Training for Women program, women are able to secure certification and employment in the IT sector.

The Women in Skilled Trades program provides pre-apprenticeship training designed exclusively for women. Each Women in Skilled Trades program offers gender sensitive in-class and on-the-job training to prepare women for employment in the skilled trades. The in-class component incorporates trade-specific training with enhanced mathematics and computer competencies. Employability and workplace preparation is also provided to help women prepare for a predominately male work environment as well as to understand employer expectations. The work placement component provides women with the hands-on, practical skills and experience required to gain employment in the skilled trades.
Training can take up to one year to complete. Following graduation, women are qualified to work in skilled trades and to enter apprenticeships.
