As a key component of its Domestic Violence Action Plan, the government is developing a province-wide public education campaign designed to reduce violence against women by promoting healthy, equal relationships between boys and girls at an early age. This will be the first campaign of its kind to target children aged eight to 14. Attached are two videos that highlight the subtle ways in which girls are made a to feel less valuable in our society. The actual campaign promotional materials are in development.
