The Ontario government recognizes the first week of June as Sexual Harassment Awareness Week to increase awareness of sexual harassment, how to prevent it and to honour the memories of all women who have been victimized.
Sexual harassment in workplaces and other settings is a serious form of violence against women in Ontario, and crosses every social boundary.
