May is Sexual Assault Prevention Month in Ontario
It is a time when we reaffirm our commitment to continually improve our prevention programs, build public awareness and improve our effectiveness in addressing the needs of survivors of sexual assault.
Sexual assault happens every day in our communities and globally, often in places unseen and unheard.
Throughout Ontario, our community partners are collaborating on a variety of projects to raise awareness about sexual assault and to advocate for those who are particularly vulnerable.
I urge you to support your community organizations in this work however you can. Together, we can end sexual assault in Ontario.
