Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) is a coalition of Canadian voluntary sector organizations working globally to achieve sustainable human development. The CCIC seeks to end global poverty, and to promote social justice and human dignity for all. Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) is an international, multi-generational, feminist, future-orientated membership organization committed to achieving gender equality, sustainable development and women's human rights. A network of women and men around the world, AWID members are researchers, academics, students, educators, activists, business people, policy-makers, development practitioners, funders, and more.
UNIFEM is the women's fund at the United Nations. It provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programs and strategies to foster women's empowerment and gender equality. In February 2008, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon launched his campaign, “UNite to End Violence against Women,” a multi-year effort aimed at preventing and eliminating violence against women and girls in all parts of the world. Stretching from 2008 to 2015, the campaign calls on governments, civil society, women’s organizations, young people, the private sector, the media and the entire UN system to join forces in addressing the global pandemic of violence against women and girls.

Global Fund for Women provides grants to support women’s human rights organizations around the world working to address critical issues such as women’s economic independence, increasing girls’ access to education and stopping violence against women.
