Celebrating Neighbours, Friends and Families
Minister Responsible for Women's Issues Deb Matthews visited the final meeting of the Neighbours, Friends and Families Expert Panel on March 27, 2009, thanking past and present members for their leadership and celebrating the public education campaign’s success.
Since 2005, the Panel has overseen the campaign’s development and province-wide implementation, raising awareness of the signs of woman abuse so that those close to an at-risk woman or an abusive man can help.
