Teach in Ontario

This program provides supply teaching, classroom immersion, pre-employment mentoring modules, employer awareness workshops and employment workshops for staff working in community agencies outside Toronto, Ottawa and Windsor.

Ontario College of Teachers

Teach in Ontario- Employment Services

The project assists participants to better understand and access support services that help them find employment commensurate with their skills and training, either as classroom teachers or in alternative occupations within the education sector.

The objective of Teach in Ontario is to help internationally-trained teachers (ITTs) obtain licensure and to provide them with the supports necessary for employment preparation in the teaching profession in Ontario.

George Brown College

College Teachers’ Bridging Program

The program includes assessment, higher-level language training focused on the education sector, introduction to workplace and teaching techniques, classroom observation and participation, workshops with coaching and networking opportunities and work placements.
