This project will help 45 internationally trained early childhood educators earn an early childhood education diploma and to get registered as Early Childhood Educators (ECE’s) with the future College of Early Childhood Educators.
The program will be offered in an intensive 12-month period. The program will offer Early Childhood Education training and English Language Training (ELT).
As well there will be 18 weeks of workplace experience using existing internship sites in childcare facilities. This will help participants improve their language and cultural communication skills.
You will receive resume and interview skills training and assistance throughout the job search process to help you find employment. You will also receive referrals to employers, career counselling and six-month job maintenance supports after you’ve found employment.
