Volunteers are the heart of our communities.

Volunteers support the arts, local sports clubs, medical research, food banks, shelters, the environment, education and research, local and international relief efforts, our places of worship, as well as neighbours and friends.

This week communities across Ontario are honouring volunteers at award ceremonies and special events.  Honourees range from seasoned volunteers who’ve made a lifetime commitment, to young people who are making a difference today.  See our online calendar for details.
