Twitter Disclaimer and Important Information
The Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Twitter accounts are managed by the Ministry’s Communications Branch.
If you follow these accounts, you can expect between 0-10 tweets a day, including:
• Alerts about new content on our Web sites
• Links to news releases and statements
• Occasional live coverage of events
If you follow @OntMCI or @OntCTW, the Ministry will NOT automatically follow you back. This is to discourage the use of direct messaging, avoid resource wasting spam handling and so that you can easily identify other key Twitter users that are relevant to the Ministry. Being followed by @OntMCI or @OntCTW does not imply endorsement of any kind.
The Ministry expects comments received via Twitter to be relevant to the subject matter of the Twitter accounts. We will update and monitor our Twitter accounts during regular office hours, Monday to Friday. The Ministry is NOT able to reply individually to all the messages received via Twitter. The Communications Branch reads all @replies and Direct Messages and ensures relevant communications are passed to the correct people in the Ministry.
Your use of @OntMCI or @OntCTW and their content is at your own risk. The Ministry and its employees, agents, advisors and independent contractors shall not be responsible or liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or other damages in any way arising out of or in connection with these Twitter accounts, including their content.
