"On behalf of the Government of Ontario and the people of Ontario, I extend my deepest sympathies to the people of Iran affected by yesterday's devastating earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and those in Ontario who have lost loved ones or are anxiously awaiting news. The Iranian community is a vibrant part of our Ontario family and we stand together with our fellow Iranian Canadians during this difficult time."
