Outstanding Youth Volunteers Recognized

Lieutenant Governor Honours Ontario Medal For Young Volunteers Recipients

Eight outstanding young Ontarians are being honoured with an Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers.

The Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers is presented by the Lieutenant Governor in recognition of the time and effort made by young volunteers, between the ages of 15 and 24, to improve the quality of life in their communities, and throughout Ontario. By honouring the contributions made by these young volunteers, this award distinguishes these exceptional young people as role models.

These volunteers will receive their medals at a Queen’s Park ceremony on April 20, during National Volunteer Week, April 19-25.
