These are programs that help newcomers get their license or certificate in their profession or trade, so that they can work in Ontario. Employers, colleges and universities, occupational regulatory bodies, and community organizations have put these Bridge Training programs together for you.

Global Experience Ontario (GEO) is an access centre that provides information and assistance for internationally trained individuals.

Newcomer Settlement Program

Community settlement agencies right across Ontario deliver this program. Services are open to all newcomers, including permanent residents, Canadian citizens, and refugee claimants.

Language Interpreter Services

The Language Interpreter Services program supports a network of community organizations to deliver spoken language interpretation services across Ontario.

All social, healthcare and legal service providers can request Language Interpreter Services on behalf of their clients who are victims of domestic violence.
