This program helps internationally trained civil engineers meet the requirements to practice as Civil Engineering Technologists in Ontario. Participants are provided with the opportunity to obtain intensive, one-year training, through which they will gain Canadian work experience, receive a recognized credential, and be prepared for employment at an appropriate level suited to their skills and education.

Participants receive occupational-specific language training, cultural training, one-on-one mentorship and job placement support. Graduates of the program receive a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Algonquin College.
