The following Bridge Training programs can help internationally trained early childhood educators find work in their field in Ontario.
This project provides a fast-track early childhood education training program for Francophone immigrants who have ECE experience but are from French-speaking countries where formal ECE training is not offered or available. The program leads to a college diploma in ECE and provides access to professional accreditation with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). The program has a component covering integration into the host Francophone community and intercultural education, which will assist Francophone immigrants in successfully integrating into the host Francophone minority community. The project will also provide coaching and job search services.
