Every year we celebrate Ontarians who have achieved excellence. These appointees have contributed significantly to our communities here in Ontario, across Canada or around the world.

The Order of Ontario is the province’s highest honour into which individuals are invested in recognition of their outstanding achievements.

Since 1986 more than 460 Ontarians have become members of the Order. Among them are talented writers, dedicated community leaders, reknowned inventors and scientists, brilliant academics, accomplished business people and gifted athletes.

They come from all walks of life and from all backgrounds

Anyone can make a nomination. If you know someone whose personal excellence or achievement is worthy of the highest honour in the province - nominate him or her.
