Volunteers are helping to build strong communities across Ontario. Who are these local heroes, how much time do they give, what do they do and where do they volunteer?

The Canada Survey of Giving, Volunteering and Participating is conducted every three years. It provides the most comprehensive overview of the contributions of time and money Canadians make to nonprofit and charitable organizations and to each other.
