The 45,000 nonprofit organizations in Ontario play an important role in building vibrant communities that are socially and economically strong. The Government of Ontario supports these organizations through many different programs, services, tools and resources. You can learn more about all of these sources of help in this section of our website.
The Ministry is leading a five-year initiative, called the Ontario Volunteer Partnership, which has set up an Insurance and Liability Resource Centre for Nonprofits. This centre will help nonprofit organizations like yours improve your risk management and access appropriate insurance coverage. It can also provide your organization with training, tools, and resources to address your risk management issues.
Here is a list of current projects we are supporting under our granting programs.
